Have issues with what do make for a design. Take this class that encompasses themes, color, shapes, whether modern, traditional all the way to contemporary. make your design pop and come alive with colors and shapes... Take quilt blocks and combine them into a quilt that will stun people.   








- Trunk Show: This show is part of the lecture that I give and give you the opportunity to see how I have evolved in my quilting.


**The cost of the lecture and trunk show is  $250.00 for a 2.0 hours.

On Tuesdays I will be at Homestead Quilting and Fabricsteaching Free Motion Quilting 101& Free Motion 102 Learn the basics of Free Motion Quilting on your domestic machine. In FMQ 101 Learn the basics of how to do simple quilting techniques from stipples to swirls. 


The Fifth session of FMQ 101 begins on Tuesday ,April 18th thru May 9 with a make-up day on the 16th. from 10-12:30p.m.  I am thrilled to say that this class has sold out each time.

 

 FMQ 102 We will dive further into the different quilting designs you can create. Learn positive and negative space and how to use filler designs in the background areas on your quilt. You will be introduced to Rulers and how they are incorporated into your quilt design. An introduction to the sit down Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen longarm machine. This class begins on April 18th thru May 23rd sign up quick, while there is still room to join. 


These two classes follow the basic outline of my book "Free Motion Quilting on a Domestic Machine" and is always available for sale. $20.00 and if the book is needed to be mailed the cost is $25.00 to aide in shipping and handling costs.

I have an easy way to take your projects and teach you to quilt on both domestic or long arm machines.  You will also master muscle memory. **Must be taken before Free Motion 102 Learn how to quilt without feeling intimidated... With this class you receive an abridged version of my Free Motion Quilting on a Domestic Machine.  Take charge and the fear of Free Motion Quilting away. Learn simple designs and get introduced to Free Motion Quilting 102. 


*Free Motion Quilting 102: Learn how to master more complex designs, ruler and template techniques, as well as how to master muscle memory. *** Free Motion Quilting 101 is recommended prior to this class.

Thread Painting Made Easy: Add the dimension of thread painting on your domestic machine...

*Darning or quilting foot required for this project as well as being able to lower your feed dogs will be required to complete this project.... 


* Pricing for all workshops within the confines of a quilting group or guild is $200.00 for booking and class limit can be as big as students, unless otherwise indicated.

 
All workshops include pattern for projects, a list of class materials, and personal instruction. Most classes are $25.00 per person with exception of those with an * next to them. Please inquire. Discounts available for classes with more than 20 students.

 **Pricing for quilt shops are based on type of class offered and time class runs. Most classes

​are between two and four hours in length unless otherwise stated and is determined by shop owner.

Travel and Lodging isn't included into workshop fee and pricing is determined by current airline and hotel fees. 



***All lecturers and workshops require a signed contract prior to event. A 50% deposit including the signed contract  are due three weeks prior to event and balance is due at time of event.
